I had a mint 69 BB 3X2 Coupe stored in a Public Storage unit..bright metallic blue exterior and interior. It was stolen. Police said was pretty common. Usually the theives were the Public Storage managers themselves. When mine was stolen, the security cameras were not working.
Mulsanne blue/blue, LS5, M21, 3.36 rear. Owned since 1998, but off the road from 2002-2013. Sold new through GM Overseas Distribution Corp. Original drivetrain. Manual brakes, steering and windows. "An" original L88 hood with GM '69 sidepipes. Older lacquer repaint. Partial tank sticker. E-T mags and Polys. Sold it in 2013, bought it back in 2014 because it's the best all around big-block Vette I have ever owned!
1970 LS5 4spd Roadster, in Classic White, with optional hardtop. Standard black interior and soft top. PS, PB, PW, AM/FM, Alarm, California Car. Numbers matching. Car is all original, including original, hard vinyl & impossible-to-see-through-rear-window soft top. :P Second owner; purchased out of estate of original owner. Of its 76K miles, 72K were put on in its first four years and the other 4K in the last forty! Peeled back the rubber tank filler collar and can make out the edge of the tank sticker. Will drop the tank over the winter to try to claim it!
As received in February 2014...came from LA to Indianapolis in a very major blizzard which followed the truck for nearly half the trip!
Had cast aluminum Holley valve covers on it when I got it...but the original valve covers were in a box in the cargo area and looked like almost new!!!
