I need a couple of clean photos of a 71 frame, in particular the front cross member under the engine where the lower control arms bolt to.
I have mine on my lift and it looks to have had some work done so I'm not positive if it has been altered.

Some clear photo's of this area would help a lot.
Thanks,
Dave
Dave- I'll get out tomorrow eve and take pics of the underside of the bare frame for you if that will help, but... if memory serves, you're in Ontario, right? The frame for my '73 ( which is actually from a '69 ) was just rolled out of the shop. You're welcome to swing by this weekend coming to take measurements or whatever.

Where is Brant County? I'm just east of Toronto, pics would help though.
Not sure if these will help, but they are all that I took of the front crossmember/lower control arms when I set the motor in the car a couple of days ago. I know the sway bar bolts are installed upside down in the pics. I'll try to take more detailed pics at the shop tomorrow.
I can't wait to get my welder. Looking at a Millermatic 211. Going to do a full gusset job on my "new to me" frame I purchased for $550 from a fellow forum member.
Pictures like these are THE VERY REASON why I'm involved in this forum. Simply awesome.
Hey Keith,
When you put in your tie down anchors, remember to do the rear. I also put two on the rear crossmember, makes life simple for us trailer queen guys going to the strip each weekend.
