1968 427 Coupe

It has been stored inside for over 20 years so it will take a bit to get it going again.
Back in the day it was supposed to be a bad azz street racer in MI.

I have no pics...
Any idea what it is worth?

My SWAG though...$15-20k, might go up or down depending on condition, frame rust, etc..

I should have looked closer before posting here...my bad. The guy is asking within your range... Guess I need to take a trip to take a look at it. A buddy of mine told me about this car...
Keep in mind, the 68 is much like the 63 in that there are many one off parts that can make it difficult (difficult=expensive) to restore if you are going that route.

"Comes with a supercharger and hood, line loc and "lower rear gears". It is blue."
Only the very serious street racers or drag strip guys put in a line lock and a blower. It depends on what kind of blower it's running. If it's one of those little Edelbrock or Weiand accessory drive blowers, that's not much, but if it's a BDS or Littlefield 4-71, or 6-71, that'd be pretty bad ***.
If you're buying this car to return it to stock, you're gonna go through a lot of grief. If you're buying it, to bring it back to what it was, before it was parked, then it might just be worth it. Something like that would certainly appeal to me (and many others). You're not gonna go very far, but you'll sure have a lot of fun, doing it!!!
Finally, these cars, don't sit very well for long periods of time. It's going to need to be gone through and you'd be surprised at how much you spend doing that. Make sure you review the 10 rules for buying a C3 Corvette:

And if it has minimal to no rust, is not trashed all to hell and can be brought back, then it might just be what you're looking for. My '74 has that same 'street race' flavor to it and I like her, for what she is. Put up some pics and you'd be surprised what the experts here pick out.

I heard that it was not driven in bad weather ever...
Hope my bud sends some pics soon...if I get this car it would just be a local driver....I do not plan to restore it, just get it driving and as reliable as it can be.
Thanks again everyone!

I have had 5 Vettes in the past, 3 C5s and 2 C6s...this would be quite a different Vette I am sure!
