First vette

Just picked up our first vette last night. 1974 L82 with 4 speed. Matching numbers in ok condition. Gonna drive it some and then start cleaning it up for more cruising. Everything is pretty much original interior. Will get some better pictures today.

Thanks for the welcome. Runs and drives great. Has some cosmetic stuff on interior but great shape for the age. Not a rip in the interior.

I got my first corvette , a 74 back in 1979.

I remember how I loved it and missed my 74 Camaro Z28 all at once.

Thanks. Can't wait to get home from vacation and start tinkering with it. My wife has already said it will look great with a new paint job and such. Paint looks great except for some chips. She wants the car to look like new. Gotta love her.

Good luck with the car. How cool is it to slide down into the drivers seat and look up over those big curved fenders and go thru the gears.

Oh yeah. We unloaded it off the trailer and I told my wife I would be right back. I pull up and she laughs and says, I heard that. Laid posi marks at our corner to mark territory. Haha. Feels good to have horsepower again that's for sure!
