Brothers, My uncle Tom lost his 71 last week to an electrical problem in his detached garage... No one was hurt but you can only imagine how it feels... This was a beautiful Vette and will be missed... Please dedicate your next weekend ride to Tom and his lost 71.

Sorry for your loss. I've seen worse listed for sale on Ebay. Maybe he can use the insurance money to start the restoration.

Really sorry for your uncle's loss, I'd personally have a hard time going through the restoration if it was mine. Best of luck moving forward - whatever your decision.
