Good suggestions guys. I'm going to check the seating of the mounts tomorrow. I'm hoping it's not the frame.

So for those helping with suggestions and interested in progress, I found out that the frame was bent. The driver side front was pushed in which moved the motor mount in and up about 1 1/2 inches off.
To get the frame straightened I had to pull the engine.

I had the same issue with my 68 but at some point someone decided to remove and reweld drivers side frame engine mount??? so when i got the frame straightend i had to remove and reweld the drivers side engine mount on the frame what a total pita!!!! glad u got it fixed the right way!!!

Glad you found the root cause and fixed it properly. Nice looking Vette, will be worth all the effort once you're out cruising the town.
