Default Hood Insulation

Where is best/cheapest place to buy OEM type hood insulation. Do I need clips if mine are in good condition? Thanks

You should check out Willcox they have special posted on forum. Also zip and corvette America as well as other forum vendors. No if clips are still reusable use them. I had to buy clips for my hood as they were no longer on car

FWIW: if you actually run across OEM insulation, you will be hostage to the seller's asking price.

Aftermarket reproducton would possibly be cheaper and easier to find.

You didn't say what year?
All aftermarket hood insulations can be spotted from a mile away. Most are cut from a flat mat and look like crap. Usually around $40.

They should be molded and countered.

Used good ones are impossible to find.

It is a 78. A nice reproduction would be OK. Thanks
