I'm thinking of storing my '75 convt with the hardtop on this winter. Has anyone left the softtop down for an extended period of time? Any issue with the softtop after storing in the car?...thanks

My soft top was down all last winter (the pic is from April). It went up when I took the hardtop off to give it a RaggTopp treatment and has been down ever since. I have not seen any problems.

To qualify that statement I do have a StayFast (cloth) top that is very pliable. I do not know if my comment would be the same if I had a vinyl top. Perhaps others can advise.

Had vinyl top on my '72 vert for maybe 20 years, bought the car with it on there, and about 5 years ago finally changed it out....

Soft towel on window when folding up. Grease it up good with a quality vynal dressing. Had my top down for 3+ years, no problem when I had to put it back up. T
