I know it's an extension to the windshield pillar weatherstrip, and I've found a picture that give me a rought idea of where it should go.
Problem is, on my car ('76) I don't see holes around where the head of this part is supposed to go.
I'm a bit at lost and start wondering if Vette of this year ever sported one, regardless of what DrRebuild's site states.
So can anyone confirm or infirm this?
And if such part was supposed to be there, I'd love to see a picture that shows how it's installed.
I've found nothing useful on the web and the AIM is pretty vague on this.
Thanks in advance.
Denpo.. I have a 76 on the back lot that might still have this on there... if this picture doesn't help you, then send me a reminder message so that on Tuesday, I'll see if the part is still there and pic it up for you. Support@willcoxcorvette.com

Thanks you Donnie for the tip and Willcox people to directly post the answer.
You answer on other vendor's product a couple of days after I order from you, sounds fair

Denpo.. I'm a vette man first.. matters not where you got it, but that you get the answer you need if I can provide it.. I'm an easy man, with the right up-bringing... Pay it forward I suppose is the best way to sum it up.
Replaced the ones on my 73 the other day... new ones (as pictured) are different from
the ones that came off.
They still fit and look OK, but the mounting holes don't match up to what was on there originally.

Yep, saw that.

You have a great weekend..

Don't worry I knew that for a long time. It was Just a fancy way to say the pay it forward mantra actually works.
