I get it's a 327, '65, 68 or 69,
and possibly a F/I 375 for the '65.
I do not know how to decode the 1st digits.

You are matching my thoughts... I believe it to be a '68 327... The second digit of the other stamp is an 8 which leads me to believe '68...
Thanks

I believe the first piece is:
T - Tonawanda
07 - July
0I - 1st
which was a Monday in 1968, so entirely possible...

Both sets of numbers appear to be restamps. No Corvette small block engines were built in the Tonawanda plant.

It is a 1968 passenger car engine. HN for 1968 is 327, 250hp, automatic in a passenger car.

Thanks gang... I believe this to be correct. Selling the car on the for sale section of this site at a reduced rate to make room for '15 C7
Little ticked at the corvette specialty shop I purchased from that represented it as a 350/350... BUT.. It sure does run strong

Maybe that's what it is today, the stamps only indicate what it was born as.
