I would like to see it without the flash on the picture. It does look like you can see the broach marks way on the right of the pad, but again need to see it without the flash. It is only a 390HP block with an Auto.

Rookie says : 092 metal has been modified/reworked/restamped.....the 0 is too deep........the 9 ain't a 9........the "new" 2 has a shadow to the left of it and is too deep.....spacing is not correct.
EDIT: OR NOT..........there!

Serial # stamped on the transmission has the same appearance as found on the engine pad. Missing top part of the "S" and missing lower part of the "4" and "0". I am guessing stamped by the same gang holder.
I find it rather amusing to see this pad being given the thumbs down while there's a very questionable pad on the C2 section being given the opposite treatment.

Blair, nothing really unusual jumping out at me. Is that yours? (I know you have an early car). Take care, john
