I have always like those cars. And this one is no exception. Although I would can the wheels and install some that are more period correct. And get rid of all that ugly yellow this and that plus paint the engine the correct color.

looks like a good one to start with though.
new wheels and lower lower it and it will look great.
why do the makos always look like they are ready to go off roading?
Id love to find one thats got enough meat on the bone left on the price to allow "restoring" it to a 70's era look. Every one I see is painted some hideous color like this and has just awful detail and needs to be completely gone through, even if someone's spent a lot of money on it.
A poor attempt Mako Shark wanna be IMO.
To each his own but this thing looks like a C3 with a really horrible body kit. The proportions just look awful compared to the GM concept: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2...mako-shark-ii/
The Mako Shark in the GM promo clip is the one I want!
Wow typing on an I phone makes one look stupid I should have waited to do this when I got home LOL
I thought all the Mako Shark kits were just add on kits for the C3, unless you are talking about the original GM design show cars from the era.
Also John Silva from Massachusetts I thought was the original designer of these customs. I do think he also converted a few cars as complete drivers or how ever complete you wanted and also supplied Motion with the molds or kits for the Motion Cars.
If I remember correctly John used to drive around in a Root beer colored one He had a small shop down he road from me.
