Slip Yoke Length Question
This car is 69 small block. Muncie 4 speed trans. The slip yoke is a little rough so I thought I'd replace it along with the tailshaft bushing. I think I may have the wrong slip yoke. It takes the 1310 joint (1.062) and is 27 spline, 1.5" od. so far all good…..But,.. it's only 4.875" long. From what I've been able to determine, it should be 5.500" long. Can anyone here shed any light on this for me? If I'm to buy a new one I want to make sur I get the right length. Thanks!,. Rick
