Default Project 7715

Join our Facebook group called , Project 7715. I'm giving this car to My future son in law and our goal is to take a wrecked non running 1977 Corvette and get it roadworthy in time for Corvettes @ Carlisle 2015. Follow along as we try to get this car running. It was wrecked in late 1994 and hasn't run since. former owner took apart and never got back together. Constructive advice welcome. Group is called Project 7715

Welcome and thanks for "Saving a Vette"!

I hope the frame is O.K., but just in case.......Check the frame for twists/bends.....no sense in using a frame that can't be straightened and will "make you drive side-ways"!

Yes , went over the frame , The best we could . looks like the front clip took most of the damage in the fiberglass smc. Also found broken spring mounts on rear and broken halfshafts at the joints. also broken heater - ac box

Got it running today ! after sitting 20 years. spun engine over without spark plugs in it to get oil flowing. poured gas in carb, put plugs in and it fired up. Now to put a gas tank in it. posted video on facebook. still haven't figured out how to post clips on the forum
