Today, I had some down time at work and wanted to brush up on an Autodesk Inventor feature I learned but have not had the chance to use it, so I decided design a muffler insert for a side exhaust. Cation, it would be really loud, and barely street legal, lol. But, I would love to build them and hear how they sound. The overall OD is 4" X 16.5" expanded metal and the inner tube 3.5" x 16.5". the .250 space in between would be stuffed with steel wool.
