Emergency Brake
I have a '78 that I bought new and over the years the emergency brake has become almost useless. I have heard that there is an aftermarket fix for this that takes up slack in the cable. Can anyone shed more light on this subject; like where to buy it and the degree of difficulty to install it?

Just had had my 78's rear trailing arms etc replaced because the PO had the parking brake assy disconnected with the shoes and holding pins removed....After all is said and done and after having the PB adjusted several times by my certified NCRS expert the story is that the PB assy never did completely hold the car from the factory...It was a bad GM design and even after all the work is done it still won't hold the car.....Just my .02 cents worth...mk's 78 Mike
