Default Anyone Upgrade to Corbeau?

HI all,

On the verge of ordering GTS-II Corbeau seats for added comfort. Dont really care about original look. She will be a driver, so need comfort.

I liked the corbeaus, as recaros are not avail, and was not a fan of fieros.

Anyone upgrade to corbeaus? would love thoughts here?

Thanks,
Ron

I put in A4s….really like them but makes it a little tight for me being 6'2". Also got the 5 point harnesses with them.

I went with C5 sport seats... haven't driven the car much with them yet so can't tell you how they are.

Pretty easy to install for me though... drill/tap a hole, bolt C3 rails to them... done.

I put a set of Corbeau A4's in mine. You have to get the narrow option as the wides won't fit and get the shaved lower section so you have alittle more head room. I also mounted them to the floor as they wouldn't tilt fowardwhile on the sliders. The above comments were the ones that worked for me. Your interior may be different.

I went w/ the GTS II. Fit nice- but felt the headrest looked out of place and too tall so I cut them down.

The brackets are too tall as well- and working on modding the GM factory ones to get them closer to the floor. I believe Speed Direct sells a set that is already cut down on the bottom cushion to help.

Why not try the stock '79-'82 seats?
