Expansion/overflow tank question
The previous owner of my '75 installed a new coolant overflow tank. I noticed today that it does not have a pick up tube attached to the cap. Shouldn't there be a pick up tube?
BTW: I have a shop manual on order so these questions should slow down after it arrives.

Yes I would think so. I bought a '74 tank for my '73 ( don't make a '73 anymore) and it came with one, there should be a nipple on the bottom of the cap for attachment and two nipples on the top of the cap ,one coming from the radiator and one as an overflow going to atmosphere.

That sounds about right. Now I just need to figure out the diameter and length. From the pics I've seen, the hose needs to bend at 90 degrees at the bottom of the tank and then add maybe another 4"???
