I bought a 1972 stingray over the weekend, drove it from Michigan back to Pennsylvania. No inspection in Michigan so I'll see what all it needs tomorrow, so far there's a few minor issues but really like the car. I'm sure I'll be asking many questions to the C3 experts on this forum.

What a great looking group of Vettes! I'm also a modern Vette owner and you can't beat the ride and performance of a C5/6. However when it comes to looks the early C-3's have it all over the later cars. You will find when driving that C-3 you are going to get a lot of attention. Congratulations on a really great looking car.
Only one car in that group that isn't going to depreciate like a **** over the next few years. Sure is a different driving experience, one that is heightened by the contrast of driving the others.
Gorgeous! So now you've left us in suspense - what color will the C7 be?
The C3 was a tough choice between white, red and blue. Saw this dark red and I don't believe it was an optional color in 72 but have always liked the dark red cars. As for the C7, that's easy: White, black wheels, red interior, 2Lt, manual. Probably 3 years away though. The added C3 will make time go quick!

I had a yellow 2001 coupe, and have an orange 72 (ontario orange) that is close to the color of your Atomic Orange C6. Very nice collection there. You have great taste in colors.
