I personally would not pay $14.5K for the Green Coupe that is pictured (original Craig's List link no longer works). It looks like it's been thrown together.
Unless it is a late VIN, the front grilles are not correct for a 1970. The side fender grilles are wrong too.
It looks like the A/C and Vacuum System don't work either based on the sellers description. (A/C needs charged, yah sure.)

It depends on what you want to do with the car. If you are looking for an original car, there is a lot of incorrect parts on this one.
If you want a war wagon Vette to beat on, then it's a good candidate.

What are your plans for it? If just a driver or a base for a restomod, I think it's a pretty good deal. If you dream of a Top Flight one day I'd look elsewhere.

No NCRS plans or expectations. I want a safe solid driver with a clean birdcage. My son will be turning 4 and I would like to use the car as joint project between. The reduced price will allow me to use the extra money from my original budget on more expensive projects.

It is worth the 14.5 to me and it sounds like to you too.
