Default 82 headlight support question

I installed my factory headlights back into my 82 after having put in Monza Style headlights 10 years ago . I installed them for two reasons (1) I like and (2) my supports were broken .

My question is i can not find what goes on the end of my actuator support bracket . I thought they bolted in because of the threaded hole in the end , but im thinking now its a place for a rubber bumper .
Ive looked at a few online places and cant find any help yet .

They bolt in. One bolt on each side up front, three in the rear of the bracket. Never heard of a rubber bumper on these assemblies.

There is a support at the front of the headlight openings that should have threaded holes in it to bolt the bracket. They are there on my 82, I had both assemblies out about a year ago to convert to electric headlight operation. Without those two bolts, your headlights will bounce around pretty bad. Can you take a picture from under the nose? They are up in there pretty tight near where the front bumper cover bolts into place.

Took these earlier ...I'll go double check . They bounced when I bought the car , one of the reasons I switched

Drawmain....
Double checked , I'm pretty sure I must be missing the bracket / support panel that the bolt goes through ..

It looks like your nose header is completely rotted away where it should have a flange for you to run a bolt through it and the headlight door assay. you are going to have yo replace it
