2021 C4 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist

New Toy

Just scored a '76 T topper. First C3, have two C4s.

The car has a 383 w T400 trans. Runs at about 3000rpm at highway speed...a little more than a 700R!

It has lazy eye so I have to order an actuator rebuild kit. In the mean time what is the best way to get the headlight down if it doesn't want to close? It is just NOT cool to one open end the other eye closed!

So, new big adventure. Oh by the way it is yellow.

reach up from underneath and gently pull on the linkage.

be careful you dont pull on the plastic switch near the linkage, it will break off.

headlight override switch under column pull it but it will keep both lights up.

I think I would go with the override switch under the dash also.
You will have to start it to get the second up, leave the switch out and it will remain up until you get it fixed.
