I am looking for some replacement rear leaf springs for my 72. I see lots of options out there. Can someone recommend a brand that won't change my ride height in the rear?
Are you trying to get a firmer "ride" or a smoother ride?
Is the rear spring-pack original to the car?

I am changing the differential fluid this week and when on the lift the springs look pretty ratty so thought about just replacing them. Ride now is OK. They are the originals. Maybe I will retain them. Will get a pic of them tomorrow.
The spring I used for the 69 was purchased from VP&B.. Was a complete kit with lower mounting plate with bolts, 8" adj bolts 330# spring. Ride height turned out perfect and the ride was definately much better. T
A number of years ago, when my wife still had her '79, I installed a VB&P composite spring. BEST mod I ever made!! The car's ride improved dramatically.
With respect to the ride height, you set that yourself, when you install and adjust the bolts at the spring's outer end.
