Happily I was able to find some black leather Al Knock seats on Craigslist that came out of a 76. They fit my 75 perfectly, and though I like how I dyed my old seats, I like these far better. A classic look.
So, I have two questions, really. The seats are flawless, so I think I know the answer to the first, but here goes anyway.
Was $400 for the pair a steal like I think it was, or about right?
Secondly, does the expert panel on here think they are an improvement? (New=driver's side; Old = passenger's side)
OK. A third bonus question. What are my old seats worth? I have no idea what to ask for them. I can spray them all black first, adhesion promoter and 3m dye, and then put them on Craigs.
Hey gang...I was hoping someone could give me a ballpark idea of what to ask for the two tone seats I took out of my 75 and have pictured in this thread. They're in pretty good shape. Two small nicks in the covers with some fairly flat foam, but overall pretty good.
I've done a search for seat prices and have seen the frames alone selling for a hundy each, but beyond that I'm in the dark. A little help expert panel?

Please and thank you.
I can't really help you with their value, but just for clarification, is it correct that you want to know the value of both complete seat assemblies, not just the seat covers?

Yes Yellowbird. The whole thing minus the rails. But the question is now moot. Sold the seats to a nice guy named Phil from Sarnia. Smokin good deal. Good luck on your resto Phil. Can't wait to see that 68 on the road.
