I'm looking at a silver 74 and I'm thinking of plastidip painting some fake-looking side windows like a 2000gt, 240z, or new Corvette on the sail panels.
I wanna limo tint the side windows and use satin black for the sail panels.
Here are some pics to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Please use the first pic of the red C3 to shop the side windows onto or the silver one if you can black out the door glass too.
--Or if you can find a better picture feel free to use it as well.
Thanks

interesting... maybe follow the curve of the wheel arch a little more on the bottom of the 'window'
You could probably go to a window tint shop, get some scraps and just wet them and stick 'em on to see if the look will work for you.

Thanks Mewn--I appreciate you taking the time to do it.
I've been looking through Google Images trying to find a hi-res pic from a dead-on side view but can't seem to find one.
The more I look at different cars from different angles I don't know if it would ever look right.
The 240z and the 2000gt roof line drops off more in the rear and the vette is more straight across/flat (if that makes any sense to you).
Maybe I could just go from nothing at the bottom of the door glass up to about 3"-5" at the top of the sail panel to match the angle of the windshield rake and the roof-line more closely. Kind of like a 67 fastback mustang
So instead of having the rear-side-glass-look it would make it look like the door glass had more of an angle at the rear instead of 90 degrees.
Does that make sense?

Here's a fastback and a c3 from a side view so you can get an idea of what i mean.
See how the rear of the door glass follows the angle of the vent window on the fastback?

I like the vents and back window the motion cars used.
