Default 1969 sting ray

Been sitting in the garage with power brake on and in first for 28 years. any idea on how to brake the emergency brake lose - getting it out
of first would be a bomus- im thanking that will be a bit more complicated but what do i know? not alot ":{

Why don't you delete this post/thread.........

then put the same questions in your other thread that has all the photos of your car.

That way members won't be flipping between both threads to help you solve the problems.

If it's in reverse and not first, the ignition key has to be turned to the 'unlock' position.

exactly the problem! it shifted just fine the emergency brake still has the rear wheels locked.
