Default 77vette

Hi
I have a 1977 L82. My question is I added 40 Delta Muffler 409S - 2.50 Offset In / 2.50 Center Out - Aggressive Sound. If I remove my catalytic converter will I have problem with my Rochester quadrajet carburetor.
thanks
