Got a couple of questions for those who have done interiors. I tried the search function, but did not get great results.
I am down to putting in the interior on my 68 Coupe and was wondering how far up under the dash to put the Dynomat like insulation? I have current ran it up to where the box for windshield wipers recede into. Seems like there is another inch or two of space I could cover, but it is it over kill at this point?
Also for those of you who have done this type of insulation, any spots I should double down on for added noise and heat protection?
I put a coat of Lizard skin ceramic sound insulation down first and am now working on Dynomat like stuff. My wife snapped a few shots of me doing it and asked how long I have been doing yoga. See photos for explanation.
I've covered the inside of the 70 firewall with insulation also. My next job is to replace the interior wire harness...got a new one from lectriclimited.
How were these interiors put together on the assembly line. Seems like a really difficult area to be working in.
