Love that color combo, and the black chrome bumpers. Fore some reason though the low profile tires don't go with that car at all. Really looks non proportional to me. Kind of ruins the package.

...there's a special place in our hearts for the Chevrolet Corvette, which has stood out as a performance icon at a benchmark price since well before the 1971 model you see above rolled off the assembly line in Kentucky....
Nope.

Well, it makes me feel better that even GM, in all of their wisdom, couldn't figure out a better place for the intake tube to go where it would not generate crazy IATs in an LS/LT swapped C3.

I know the big cool trend is to swap in some big HP modern engine that you can't even see much off with the weird plastic everywhere, these are wonderful engines and the reason I don't want any vette newer than c3

This makes my knees weak...actually getting older makes my knees weak but you get the idea...

I appreciate the attempt and the workmanship is great, but I think the bumpers, and coloring treatments of the tops, side grills and wheels detract and make it look too busy/segmented...a stock car with a the same level of finish looks better! I do like the subtle change to the side gills though; just think they should be body color...
