Lets see some custom tail lights

I have a pair of 68 firebird tail lights I planned for my 69...a popular light to use in the 70's but im curious...ive seen people post custom headlight treatments, show me some custom tail lights in c3's please.

If you like 68 `bird tail lights..... you`d LOVE 66 goat tail lights! I think you finally mentioned something I DON`T have laying in the piles of parts here!

gto...you suck out loud..

.having no idea what 66 goat lites looked like I google them,

They look way better than firebird AND I could use my sequenal flasher to make them light one two three courgar style...

I would pop by but right now I have a 68 clip on top of tinas xterra and waiting for mike to call to dump it ahem take it to him...

curious,
any one with a clue what these came out of, look like I know them but nothing I think they are matches up...

I have something that looks like that on a 68 coupe that I have. Its all flared out I will get a pic later.

I was looking at older torinos,
Yep 70...

It appears on the vette they cut them in the center to take some out to make them fit the vette rear...

I wish I had a picture but I had 78 monza tail lights in my custom 66
What I did was flip them left side to right so they were actually upside down but fit the rear of the c2 amazing,

I KNEW you`d like them!

My front clip came from Cocoa, so I would`ve been a little nervous lashing it to the roof!

C2 with 67 bird lights....

SOMEBODY put a '76 tail light panel on my '68 project

The good news is......they reinstalled the '68 tail light assemblies!

I was always wondering how this 64 Impala taillights (two each side, not three) would have looked, but it would be very experimental, I'm not sure about it.

This is what we finally did on my 82 Vette : 1970 Camaro tunnels and taillights.
The inner portion of the Camaro lens is bulged out, maybe you can recognize on that pictures.
Custom Image Corvettes did the conversion - those do not fit the Corvette buckets, as they sit way deeper than Corvette lights.
Very nice lenses imo, but pictures don't do justice.

This is a more complete view. 1970 Camaro taillights and tunnels. Bulged out lenses, deeper tunnel.

I bought led tail lights and added trim rings from the stock tail lights. The first pic is the led lights with and without trim rings.

C4 tailight cut to fit. just toying with the idea. Would use led halos in it,plus a bulb,maybe the spider bulb.

The led tail lights are for the 80-82. You trim the tabs and they fit in the stock bumper cover of the older C3. I then took my stock tail light trim rings off and glued them on.
