Car has a wing on the rear deck. Yesterday I thought that I would just crawl under the car, contort my arm through the rear of the car, and take the bolt out. All that went fine until the last part where the bolt turns but does not back away from the wing. Any ideas?
EDIT - while I am asking, should those rear vents on top be black?
Sounds like the threads are stripped in the pedastal on that last bolt. Have an assistant pull up on the pedastal from above while you turn the bolt from underneath.
The deck vents are usually body colored.

I tried that, but I am not sure how hard he was pulling. We were a bit worried about damaging the body. Will try again.
If you cut it off you'll probably have access to the nuts/bolts. If using a sawsall be carefull; they can vibrate and bounce pretty good.. bottom the shoe on the leg, turn it on and slowly engage the blade into the leg. Maybe ise a jig saw, a lot more control.
