But did come up with anything usefull . Im wondering if 2014 light bulb will fit in the 1969 fixture socket.

yes you just need the correct number, if you look on the brass part of th bulb there will be a number just go get the same number

I was looking at those yesterday.....the staggered pins on the old style bulbs were 180* apart.

I may be wrong, but it appears that the staggered pins on the 2014 bulbs are not exactly 180* apart and don't engage the socket slots correctly.

What bulb? headlight, tail light, interior what? They are all availible, it 1969 not 1869

i just bought a 1157 bulb and it fit all bulbs have different numbers that's what you need to go by
