Front body mount change
Hi Guys,
Well some of you may have read my previous thread about changing out the rusted through rocker channels and at the moment it's going ok with both sides now in and welded up .
Now I need some assistance with a small issue I have. The front mount on the drivers side was very thin and rusted so I made a new one and here is the problem . When I took out the old mount there is i reinforcing plate at the back of the fibre glass which I can't figure how to get out of the vent flap pocket ...???
Any one have some advice on how they took theirs out ? It has to go back in once I have got it out and takes out the rest of the rivets and cleaned it up because it provides strength for the mounting .
Anyone done this previously that can point me in the right direction .?
