73 l82 engine temperature sensor question
Hello everyone:
I have an L82 engine and noticed that there are two temperature sensors. They are on both sides of the block.
Why are there two?
Neither seem to work since the temp gauge isn't working on the cluster either.

The one on the drivers side is the temp sensor. One on the passanger side is part of the emission system.
