I used Corvette America for a complete interior restore including seats. They offer discounts for spending big$$ on restoration projects. I believe most vendors drop ship from Corvette America
I used Willcox for carpet , it was ACC carpet which is good quality.
I plan to replace door panels this winter and if Willcox will supply Corvette America panels then I will go with them.
We purchased carpet from Wilcox and door panels and seat foam from Eckler's.We purchased all the small interior parts from both companies and some from Mid America Motorworks.
Our custom made leather seat covers came off Ebay from an upholster in Texas.
replaced mine a year or so ago, I used all the big venders, when I had a issue with a carpet color problem, they had mid America custom make them for me at no extra cost to match the carpet set I received, they made my door panels and mats to an exact match was very impressed with results, took longer than I originally planned but the end result was awesome. so I guess I would go direct to mid America if I had to do it again, and I am sure I will have to when I start my next project lol,

I've been real happy with Willcox. They resell from a lot of top quality vendors at a lower price. Their service has always been top notch. They are also on the Forum a lot to help people with their projects whether they bought from them or not. Great people to deal with.
It'd be interesting to know the complete story on repro interior parts. For instance, I think there is a auto carpet company in Alabama that makes much/all of the carpets sold by vendors. The auto carpet company doesn't sell to the public as far as I know. Other examples, if you buy aluminum big block heads with GM logo's...they're made by Edelbrock. If you buy repro body panels from main stream vendors, they may well have been made by J&D Corvette. 69 seat head rests...only Al Knoch has the OEM tooling to make these. I have changed the interior of my 70 from black to red. The interior repro parts have come from Corvette Central, Mid-America, Al Knoch, and Dr. Rebuild. Who knows who really made them. Some interior parts, once again sold under main stream vendor names, have come from EC Products. (EC=everything Corvette). I haven't been too happy with their products.
Sometimes repro interior parts don't fit that well. I once was talking with an acquaintance who made custom interiors for street rods....really professional interiors that looked like something from a major automobile manufacturer. I started talking about the difficulties getting my repro interior to fit...I think he thought I was leading up to asking him to install the interior parts....He quickly said.."I'd rather pull my fingernails out with wire pliers than try to install a repro interior." I think a little exageration, but i got the message.
I just got my new interior from Willcox and saved a ton of money. I mean like $500. Six big boxes. Couldn't be happier. Arrived quickly and it's the best deal around. They get my vote. Rick
