Default newbie here - 68 project

Hi - new guy here. Been working on my first Corvette a couple months. I've been a Camaro/GTO guy up till now. Car is a L79 convert 4 spd. Needs a lot of love. Front end is crashed but all other panels are good. Hope I can contribute!

I do have a ? About ZIP Corvette - I put in a large order back in Oct when they ran the 20% off plus free shipping deal, but now that the credit card bill came, I didn't get either of the 2. The difference is about $400. Are they pretty good about resolving issues w/ customers or is there a better supplier you guys use?

Welcome to the insanity!
1. We are also building our first Vette, a 71 coupe! Not our first car, just first Vette....
2. Also a Pontiac guy.... we have a 69 Grand Prix and a 66 GTO
3. Ours was crashed in front also! Just fiberglass damage, frame, brackets & braces, radiator never got touched.
We`ll need to see tons of pictures of your car from start to finish!

I had the same problem but I noticed it before I pushed check out. I called them and they fixed it right away. I am sure they will work it out. Welcome from another struggling '68 owner.

I too have a 1968 L79 convertible that I have been working on for about a year. No real body damage just a few small holes and cracks. Had alot of mechanical issues all fixed now. The wipers were the final projeat and were a PAI. The covered for the winter can not wait until spring. Good luck on your car and welcome to the site, there is alot of information available.
