Fuel sending unit 81 vette help
i have an 81 vette doin a ground up restro with mods,noticed the fuel gauge showed full,with an almost mty tank.worked fine before I took the tank off and had the whole frame powdered coated. I can take the sending unit out hook the wires up and move the float it works fine,I put the unit in the tank,and the gauge go to full,the tank is grounded to the frame and the unit has an external grd,and the ohms wire and the float and sock aren't bent to make it show full,any suggestions wld be greatly appreciated! Thx
