I wanted to know input! I found in an automotive store locally led flex strips that are used as running lights. Opinions??? I have an extra switch under my dash right now anyway I could run the wires through that to use as a kill switch to have the lights on or off I was planning on putting them on the grill in the lower front of the car. Let me know! Also to be known I have gotten this approved by the local law enforcement!
Also please suggest shapes to make the lights into. Ill have to make a mounting bracket anyway.
Just messin' with you, I dig lighting and LED's make it cool,
I buy it by the roll... I dig supernight brand it comes in indoor or waterproof types, color or three color that a controller blends,
Here is my wife on our trike with purple LED's a did...
But LED's can look crappy on the classics like c3's,
what do you desire from it just an accent type thing?

Too much Audi there for me. Use the #1157 bright filaments that you already have. And an LED switch under dash if you wish. There are DRL kits for this.
I made a fifth lens below the existing lenses from clear casting resin and mounted a COB LED strip behind each.
they actually put out some light,
I think it does help you see the car coming. But if nothing else, I think they look cool.
I think if I used amber rather than white I could like this mod....
In my eyes, an amber glow of fog/driving lights under the front is sweet and mean looking, add the fact your car is black and you have a really sharp look, you could do it in the lenes like Brent did...

Honestly they both look really really cool! The police said I could even have red LEDs, but they said police in surrounding areas may not be as understanding, so I think ill just stick to the led or amber. Or other cool colors that are legal! Let me know cool ideas please
I'm running amber halo's for my front parking- as I have clear lenses- for the turns I am using COB LEDs.
I did use the strip LEDs as well- but made them "fit" the car-
Front and rear sidelights- running COB for turn and strip light for parking. I got the strip lighting for about $20/roll -cut it to length and soldered up the leads- used marine grade heat shrink to make it waterproof.
Also added some sequential flasher to the rear-
For the rear license plate light- I cut some aluminum tubing added some strip lighting.
For the back-up lights- used some LED lights hidden behind the plate-
