Default 1975 fuel door decal

Does anyone know if the "unleaded fuel only" gas door decal is black or white on a mille miglia red 1975 Corvette???
Thanks in advance

It is BLACK on a Mille Miglia Red (Like my original 1975 Convertible) White was used on the Dark Red (code 74)

Hi Red,

My original dark red (code 74) had the white label. A note in the NCRS judging guide states that "The white lettered label was used on the red body color in 1975." I thought it was interesting to note they did not mention any specific color, but did mention red, which I may be making the incorrect assumption that it pertains to both dark red (code 74) and Mille miglia red (code 76).

Is it original paint? Do you have a picture?

The car is all original with the exception of the front and rear soft bumpers which, as they will do over time, disintegrate. Everything in between is original. I purchased the car 3 years ago with 37,897 miles on the clock. The car has documentation back to the original owner. I am the 4th owner of the car. Although anecdotal, a friend of mine has a dark red 1975 that has a white sticker, and another friend of mine has a 1976 Mahogany that also has a white sticker. Of course this doesn't mean that black or white stickers haven't appeared on the various cars as they trundled down the assembly line. This is the best photo I have at present as the '75 is on top of my car lift, I will take a close up photo sometime and post it.
