I`m planning to put LED bulbs in my 71.... this picture was posted by a forum member who did the swap... this is to show the difference between the LED on one side, & stock bulbs on the other. It was enough to convince me to go with LEDs!

I have always been drawn to the digital gauges, I have owned several different sets that fit c3's liked some far more than others,
I do not like the ones which have a clock rather than oil pressure,
and the % of fuel left is weird at first.
But once again you are asking how others think you should build YOUR car, I think you should hurry up and peel the hash marks...see do you care what I think?!?!?
If you are wanting a bunch of people to say the digital gauges in a C3 are a cool mod, won't happen, most people do not like them....who cares??!?!...we like them...

I'd want to see the gauges functioning, not just a static picture to form an opinion.

I was actually wondering why the static picture on the CorvetteMods website has an Eckler's copyright image embedded in it? Even the description is identical. Are they somehow affiliated, or did they just steal the image and info from Ecklers?

Does anyone have a part number and brand on these led bulbs? I have my dash ripped apart now to replace bezels, it would be a perfect time to upgrade the dim stock lighting.

I have LED's in my dash that I ordered from superbrightleds.com. They made a huge difference in the readability of the gauges. I ordered a set of Dakota Digital gauges from Summit last month to update everything. I won't get them until the first week on February. All digital, but still analog displays.

I like the stats it can give - 0-60 mph time, 1/4 mile time, etc. That would be fun to have.

You could just install one of many android phone apps that give you the same info. That way it is isn't a permanent install, but it is always available when needed. They are very accurate. I have a window mount for my phone, so that it looks like a mounted gps unit. I even downloaded a speedometer app that is pretty awesome to use for verifying the correct gear for my speedo. The app is called "speedometer". Go figure. LOL
