I swapped rides for an afternoon once with a friend who owns a C5. They are really great cars, but I think he enjoyed driving my car more than I did his (though he'd never admit it 
). The C5 is better in every way, but you can't help but like a good-running small block with a 4 speed.

If you are concerned with trunk space, then you are shopping for the wrong type of car.
