Default No dash lights

Hey guys, the lights in my dash have not worked since before I bought the car. It's all the lights for the gauges but the blinker indicators work. I have checked the fuse marked gauges with my meter while it was both installed and pulled out of the fuse box. Could anybody steer me in the right direction as to where to start looking. Thank you all in advance

If you are certain the fuse is good, test the rheostat on the light switch.

Will the dash have to come out to get to the switch?

Replaced mine on my 82 Collector,
used this method
http://www.corvettemagazine.com/tech...-installation/
I didn't have a screwdriver wide enough to unscrew the center headlight switch retainer so I did this, worked great.

check the grounds on the instrument modules. they're probably missing or not connected right.

Awesome thanks a million. After a little research on the forum as to which fuses are for what I found that the itty bitty 5 amp fuse for the inst lmps is missing. I have tested the terminals for a short yet but I will take it to mean that there was previously a short that blew that fuse. There is also a dead short in the courtesy light circuit blowing its fuse. I am an electrician but it doesn't make getting under this dash any easier!!
