Actually I was going for no curve, but since I was just eyeballing it while sitting on the ground I ended up with a curve.
When you are sitting close and with the swoopy bodylines it’s hard for me to know what’s level without getting up and down a dozen times and viewing the car from a distance. Which is exactly how I will have to approach it for the next iteration.

The hot glue mostly stood up to highway speeds
No hot glue is not the perm plan.

That is more so with the rear calipers. Although I did tilt the front calipers up during the bleeding process.

Installed a new Eklers chin spoiler and happy with the fitment

Still painting the wiper trough which is proving to be a awkward job as I'm working around the wiper mechanism as I'm too scared to take it out

Worked on getting my Flaming River Manual Steering rack in today.

Had to Cut the cradle- mill down the aluminum mount to make it fit.

Success!!!!

Here's the cut- I will weld some flat steel to strengthen it back up

Milled down the aluminum about 3/8"

Clearance -Clarence!!!

A simple AN fitting was all it took to make the Dry sump line go around the rack and pinion-

Way toooooo big to fit- I figured a large sway bar fitting would work-

I found one- should work great and give me the clearance- and looks to be a little more substantial than the original mount.

Don't know if this will apply to your build, but the third paragraph mentions power steering pump pressure(s) and what to do to manage it. http://corvettec3.ca/steeroid.htm

Thanks for heads-up-

It's a manual rack with an electric assist from a Nissan Cube!!!

Painted the wiper trough, firewall, fan shroud and frame inside the engine bay. Whoever designed the wiper door mechanism wants a good kicking

Need to tidy up the wiring but struggling for ways of doing that whilst retaining that stock 'shabby' appearance..

Taking it out is easy. Putting it back is the hard part.

I got tired of messing with the 48 year old frayed throttle cable and broke down and bought a Lokar cable and bracket.

Default New Russell Braided Stainless Brake Hoses

I replaced the rubber brake hoses with braided stainless hoses on all four corners.
Now I'm going to flush & bleed the brakes.

Money well spent. They made a big difference on my non-power brake car.

You're not kidding. I walked away from it 3 times before finally getting it done. I used a little silicon to hold the plastic washers in place and put the bolts in the fixed arm first followed by the bolts in the moving arm. And even though I hadn't removed anything but the door, it still need quite a bit of fettling to get it to open / close and seat properly.

Pulled the cover, wiped it down, let it warm up in the garage.
My wife came out into the garage and sat in the passenger seat and said "we really need to take it for a ride soon, as soon as we finish painting and remodeling the living room".

sadly nothing done, was planning on working on the vette this weekend since I converted the whole garage to LED lighting last weekend but my body had other plans. I ended up in the ER after spending a few hours trapped on the floor unable to get up due to sever muscle spasms in my right leg. I found out I have bursitis of the right knee and it finally decided to shut me down (for a few days at least) the signs were there, for the last 6 weeks my hip has been giving me soreness but I never followed up on it till now. maybe next week after we get 2 more nor-easter storms this week

Picked up my new ATI harmonic balancer for the 496 build.
It's now up on the shelf with everything else waiting for my body off to begin.

I installed insulation in these new to me fiberglass tops. Getting the parts back together for installation by Summer.

My Son is training to be an auto paint specialist. He painted them a deep gloss black and did a fantastic job. Sorry they are covered here. Photo of that later.

It's going to be a hundred degrees here pretty soon. I'm getting ready. I figured this 1/4" Insulation would help some.

My smoke t-tops are great but let in a bunch of light and heat. Love 'em but I'm going for a dark cockpit this summer.

I picked up this C4 front license cover for my '81 off of Flea Bay.

Did some minor modifications and painted her to match my car.
