C3 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
St. Jude Donor '19
Default Motor mounts

Installed solid motor mounts and ARP bolts. Included for your viewing pleasure is Bubba’s handiwork, too long cross bolts, shimmed with a nut. Just do it right the first time
Cleaned and oiled K&N air filter, moved oil pressure switch to behind distributor, installed oil temp switch for soon to be installed oil temp gauge.

Since you have gone this far. Do not forget to check out the run out of your rotors. I believe it should be .005" or less. If it more than the .005" is one of the main reasons for constant bleeding the brakes. The rotors can be shined to get them to the .005" or less.

Had oil/filter and trans fluid and filter changed yesterday. Need to have them done professionally to keep the 2 year powertrain warranty in place on the white Rabbit(77 L-48). Runs very well and i hit the throttle at 60. Very nice jump ahead. All in all pretty happy with it. Winter project is carpet from willcox.

took out the cracked front windshield, cleaned the birdcage frame, suppringly no rust as the car spent the last 20 years in a garage with the old owner restoring it slowly. Installed a new windshield, got new tires. now it going on winter here in northern Virginia so no plates until spring. A complete years work done on it, to now strip the body again and send it off for paint.

Been cleaning up the engine bay over the last year and the valve covers drove me nuts trying unsuccessfully to clean off the tarnish so off they came. What a ball ache having to remove the A.I.R. pump and bracket all for 16th" of interference I had bought a pair of covers one year wrong from a Forum member so they went on and I had my originals polished.

The replacements have the twist off metal oil cap whereas the original 1971 is the plastic cover. I'll put the original back on sometime but I'm in no rush

Thought I could change quick the rear calipers to Wilwwod, but the breakline connection won't go loose

Repaired the driver side regulator gears. Easy fix. Grinder and drilled out slots for more aft adjustment. Readjusted window to perfection. First time since I’ve had it that the window fits absolutely perfectly where it should.

Yes that nut is a bear. Try a Long extension with a swivel and socket. I've forgotten the method but not the frustration :-)
You may also try a closed end wrench and tap it loose.
Think it through you'll get.
