What did you do to your C3 today?

Today I sandblasted the front bumper extension assembly... you know, the one with the vacuum tank. I also sandblasted the assembly from my parts car, so one of them will be spare. I haven't decided if I'll go with the original front end which is a '74, or switch to the front end from the parts car which is a '75.
There are advantages to changing to the '75, since I already have the front fenders and hood, but I'll need to change a few things and the glass on the lower half of the passenger side was evidently in a fight with something and needs repair. If I keep it all '74 I'll need to buy a new front end but the advantage to that is that it all goes into place without modification. So I sandblasted both parts and I'll decide at the very last POSSIBLE minute and try to sell the parts that I don't need.

I pulled the 1980s or early 1990s broken radio out. Found a previous owner used a chunk of wood to brace it, it was just wedged in there.
Also found a dead mouse!
It now has a super cheap but surprisingly decent radio with Bluetooth so that's another item off the list. After that drove it a little to get some video for a separate thread where I'm trying to figure out a squeak, still have to edit and upload the video though.

Washed the bugs and road grime off from my weekend trip to Pagosa Springs, CO. Won 2nd place in a car show there.

sounds like you might have a brake pad dragging. Caliper not releasing??

I'm hoping to take it apart and find out this weekend. I really hope that's all it is. If its dragging its dragging very lightly, last car I had with a sticky caliper almost melts paint off the wheel.

Over the last two weekends I've installed new calipers, new brake lines, had the rotors turned (after drilling out the front rivets, the backs were already drilled), new pads, painted the shocks, new rear leaf spring rubber and bolts. Last thing to do is bleed the system and touch up some paint on the suspension.

This all started when I had a leaking caliper and was going to buy the rebuild "O" ring kits for all 4. (The "just as well do all 4" started this too.) Come to find out that the leaking caliper must have been rebuilt before my time because one side was sleeved and one side was not. See below:
By the way.... this picture shows you why you should bleed your brakes:
