That's quite a list you'll need. M/C manual 1"bore, P/B 1 1/8. Brake booster, not sure of pushrod length difference. Brake lines from master to Brass distribution valve will need to be changed. [P/B dist block mounted on frame very close to the steel line for LF flex hose] not sure where mounted with manuel. Vacuum hose, new fitting on intake, fitting into booster. Should be enough to get ya going. T
Purchase the 69 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and flip over to the J-50 power brake section in Options. The AIM will show the factory installation and list the various parts you will need.
Thanks guys that was very informative, and its cheaper than I thought.
Agree. Not terribly expensive nor all that hard. Just a fair bit of fidldly work. You'll have to drill a lower hole in the firewall and close off part of the old one. The bolts for the brake booster are a pain. The Clovis pin for the pushrod is a pain and the retainer is a royal pain. The striker plate for the brake switch is a pain. Are you noticing a theme?
