Default 1968 Dash Help

So the nightmare continues,
Actually, its really not that bad. I am putting the dash back in and think I am missing a wire somewhere related to ignition. I took the dash out so long ago, I just can't remember a spare wire coming off the switch and am asking for help. On the connection to the ignition, there is a metal tab marked "G" on the plug, but no obvious choice for what it hooks to. It looks like there should be a plug that goes there to me, but I cannot find one or remember taking one out of there when I took it apart for restoration.

When its all plugged in, the motor will not turn over. Thinking this was the problem, I ran a jumper wire from here to the battery ground and got the the same result. Also, if it is a ground, where does it get grounded to? I bought a new engine wire harness and everything there was very obvious where it plugged in. The frame and engine are grounded and I checked the continuity and all was good there. I checked all the fuses and none are blown. I just can't get my motor to turn over.
The one thing I love about this forum, is someone here probably had the same issue, any ideas?

Rookie idea: those terminals may be for ignition warning buzzer and for ignition switch illumination light .

For no start problem.....check the purple wire from the ignition switch to the neutral safety switch....it should have 12volts coming OUT of the neutral safety switch when the key is turned to the CRANK position....the purple wire coming out of the neutral safety switch should go to the starter solenoid and should have 12 volts at the solenoid when the key is yurned to CRANK position so that the solenoid will engage the starter.

Doorgunner,
Thanks for the reply. Figured out the starter issue and found the two wires to the solenoid were backwards. The diagram shows the yellow wire on the inboard side of the starter and the purple one outboard. Switched them and the motor cranked over. Would it hurt anything to ground the ignition switch? I just don't remember any wire coming out of there before.
