Love sharks - hate Mustangs?
Found this in my files from an old Corvette Forum Cruise In photo I took.
Actually I don't really hate Mustangs and have owned a couple in the past. I did have to sell one of them due to rust in the front shock towers so I guess the Rustang moniker fits
Have had several '69 & '70 Mustangs over the years and loved every single on of them. Sold the last one about 5 years ago and still regret I did that. My problem is I just love anything with wheels and a motor, period.

I too have owned Vettes and Mustangs, and still own my '70.
I remember a guy on my paper route that bought a new yellow Boss 302 and took me for a gear-banging ride a couple of times. That made quite a lasting impression on a ten year-old kid. Who could hate a Mustang??
Too bad they all rotted out here in the Rustbelt before I got my drivers license.
I come from a Ford family, my first car at 15 was a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, I had the finest ride at the high school, i later got involved in some things i shouldn't have, lost interest in the car and sold it. Not a day goes by that i don't kick myself in the *** for that decision. I now have a 93 Mustang conv. that's all hot-rodded out and i also always wanted a Corvette so a couple years ago i bought a low mileage 92 C4. Love cruising in both of them, but the Mustang means more to me, i have had it since 95. Would love to have a 68-72 C3 but ultimately i want another 69 Mach 1.
Likely will sell the C4 to partially fund a new toy, i want something classic to enjoy and show, want that Mach 1 but they fetch a lot of money, may "settle" for a 68-72 C3 convertible, either way, i would have a fine ride.

My '70 sure was rotten when I decided to try and save it. Spent 2.5 years doing metal work to it. The entire front clip, bottom, and quarters were trashed, lucky me.
I'm an only Chevy guy but it's hard not to appreciate an early fastback in Shelby trim. That car IMCO forced GM to make the 1st generation Camaro a better car.

When he was 16, one of my boys bought a 67 Mustang as his first project. The more he took it apart, the more it crumbled! He tried patching some of it, then decided to part it out. He just barely got his money back out of it. Now he`s putting a 79 front clip on his 74 Camaro!
