Can anyone give me any info on this hood? I recently purchased a 69 Vette and the owner threw in this hood. I can not find any info on it. Any assistance is appreciated.

Looks like they made some engine changes, needed clearance, (or just wanted to change the look), and cut a hole in that hood and mounted the scoop. Not really my cup of tea.

As you probably know, not a Vett OEM.

Well the hood started as a stock likey LT-1 hood from 68-72 ( big block hoods had holes drilled for the numbers emblems )

This is what the hood looked like stock,

Then they took an aftermarket old school hotrod style scoop and glassed in on to like said before clear some engine mod that was too tall for the stock hood,

What I would do ( unless you love the scoop ) is remove the bug catcher part and glass in the hole they cut, get the hood back to stock, as it's a great looking hood....

Questions:
1. where do you live, and could you ship it?
2. Do you know if it came off your car? and what year is it? I don't believe that is an original 68-71 LT-1 its too high in the front.
3. Could you take some detail photos of the underside?
4. What are you asking for it?
5. Would you be interested in trading parts? I have a bunch of original parts from my 73 restoration.

thanks,
Mark
