Lacquer thinner will do it. Acetone will work also, but it evaporates so fast, it's difficult to use.

Here in California, we have an EPA approved lacquer thinner..it doesn't work as well as the real stuff.

Finally finished mine...

I ended up shooting the tub with satin clear so it would cover some of the scratches and even out some of the color variances in it.









I won't be leaving mine in there as I prefer to look at the rear end/suspension but for now, I need the tub for extra storage for my cross country trip in July... I'll be storing a tool bag and extra parts in the tub...
